Kent Test Resources

You’ll be pleased to know that there is a wealth of FREE resources widely available online to help prepare you child (and you!) for the Kent Test.

The Kent Test:

https://www.kent.gov.uk/education-and-children/schools/school- places/kent-test#tab-1,2,3,4

The Kent County Council offers an abundance of key information about the test and this really should be your first port of call. Here, you will find details on the following:

  • How to register (including details if you live outside of Kent or your child has SEND),

  • Test dates,

  • The test paper,

  • Results day,

  • What your score means,

  • How to apply for a grammar school.

Practice Papers:

GL Assessment:

GL assessment is the exam body for the Kent Test so their resources are generally very close to the real thing.

The 11 Plus Guide:

Videos are also another great way of preparing for the exam. I really love Lessonade, which can be found on YouTube:
